GINA GARCÍA
With over ten years of experience in world-class kitchens such as Mugaritz in Spain and the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, she brings a passion for Mexican flavors, pastry, and international cuisine.
Her creativity and precision mark the beginning of a new chapter for our kitchen in Zipolite—authentic, refined, and inspired by the sea and our Oaxacan land.

Let us introduce you to some of the great wines we’ve collected from the various growing regions of Mexico. Oaxaca and Mexico are well represented in our wine list and cocktails. The Q bartenders create an array of cocktails which often feature distilled spirits from Oaxaca and smaller distilleries in Mexico.
Find us above Zipolite’s shore
Q is located in Maquil, a beautiful hotel comprised of nine private villas on the hillside above the beach in Zipolite. An informal bar and restaurant called the ClubHouse is also at Maquil by the lower pool and is open from 1:00 to 9:00. A ten minute walk from Zipolite gets you to Maquil.
